In a bold departure from their usual style, Lord of the Lost has unveiled a mesmerising music video for their track "Reset The Preset." This captivating visual spectacle comes from their chart-topping album, Blood & Glitter, which has taken the music world by storm.
Lord of the Lost shares their thoughts on "Reset The Preset":
"In line with the song title 'Reset The Preset,' we decided to approach the music video in a way we never have before. We handed over every creative decision, from clothing to lighting, colours to content, to our tour photographer and cameraman, Lennard Schmitt. Lennard possesses an incredible talent for visually absurd art. With him at the helm, we reset every LOTL preset and allowed ourselves to be surprised by this video from start to finish. The result is undoubtedly the most vibrant and bizarre visual art we have ever released."
The song features Andy Laplegua, a Norwegian musician and songwriter, best known as the founder and frontman of the musical project Combichrist. You can definitely hear Andy's rougher influence on the song, so if you love Combichrist you'll probably love this too.
Having just watched and reacted to this strange spectacle/ fever dream acid trip of a video, I can only warn you to be prepared to be transported to a surreal and otherworldly realm as the band embraces the unexpected. This is a very stunning collaboration between the band and their long-time tour photographer/videographer Lennard Schmitt, resulting in an explosion of visual creativity and artistic flair. It can easily be described as an extraordinary piece of visual art.
I won't say anymore as I don't want to spoil the surprise but keep your eyes peeled for my reaction video which I hope to share very soon! You can watch my amazed expression as we all tumble down the acid soaked rabbit hole with the band.
After representing Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest, the band's success has soared to new heights. Supporting Iron Maiden for the second time, Lord of the Lost continues to dominate the live music scene. Their busy schedule includes prestigious slots at major European summer festivals, such as Wacken in August and Rockharz Open Air this weekend.
If you get a chance don't miss out on the opportunity to see their energetic and lively act live!
