DOGSTAR, Keanu Reeves's Rock Band, Unveils New Music Video & Tour Dates

Dogstar band

Stop the presses! Keanu Reeves's rock band DOGSTAR is making a serious comeback! For those that don't know, DOGSTAR is hollywood superstar and all round good-guy Reeves's 90s grunge metal band that consists of Bret Domrose on guitar/vocals, Rob Mailhouse on drums, and John Wick....I mean ....Reeves on bass and backing vocals.

After a long hiatus, DOGSTAR has returned with a bang, releasing their new music video for their hit single "Everything Turns Around" and unveiling an epic summer/fall tour across the United States. As if that wasn't enough, they are also treating fans to their long-awaited album, "Somewhere Between The Power Lines And Palm Trees," their first release in two decades.

"We couldn't think of a better song to re-introduce DOGSTAR than 'Everything Turns Around' and hope everyone loves it as much as we do. It's catchy and poppy, has a chorus that rocks, a bridge with an indie sensibility and is completed with lyrics that tell an honest yet uplifting story," DOGSTAR says of the track. "It's one of our favourite songs to play live and we can't wait to take it out on the road."

The new album, set to release on October 6, promises a nostalgic yet refreshing sound, showcasing the band's growth and evolution. The track list features twelve songs, which I am going to go ahead and assume are awesome, includes "Blonde," "Overhang," and "Breach," among others.

A bit of band background

DOGSTAR formed in the early 1990s and released two albums—1996’s Our Little Visionary and 2000’s Happy Ending—before breaking up.

The band made their comeback at the prestigious BottleRock music festival in Napa Valley, California, on May 27. The crowd erupted with excitement as Reeves and his bandmates delivered an electrifying performance, treating fans to a taste of their highly anticipated upcoming album, which included the mesmerising song "Glimmer."
