Hailing from the city of Salta Capital, Abyss Nox has emerged as an exciting modern symphonic metal band making waves in the music scene. With their debut album "First Born" now available, the band showcases their remarkable talent and clear vision for their musical journey.
The album features two promotional singles, "Overcome" and "Deep Within," captivating listeners with their powerful sound. Comprising five original songs, "First Born" is a testament to the songwriting prowess of "Nedy" Gomez and Jon Paredes, complemented by the musical arrangements of their guitarist.
About the album and its release, Gómez comments: “I'm very happy with the results of all the work done on this first EP. It has been months of planning a job in detail and I am certain to express our message in these first songs. We came to create something that we did not think possible and that I am sure you will love. It will be a nice presentation of the original essence that Abyss Nox is brewing and of what will come in the future because in addition to the EP there is much more material and songs that we want to share.”
One of the highlights of this release is the official debut of their new vocalist, Annette whose remarkable talent brings a fresh and captivating element to Abyss Nox's music. Annette comments on her incorporation: "I'm really excited. Nedy had spoken to me a long time ago so that I could be part of it. A couple of years passed and one afternoon he proposed to me again to be a part and become the main vocalist. How can I refuse such an offer! (laughs). I have high expectations, I think that Abyss Nox has a lot to offer the genre, a lot more.”
Since their debut, Abyss Nox has garnered recognition in regional festivals and made their mark with the release of their first original single, "Lux Noctis." This mesmerizing live video premiered exclusively on YouTube in June 2022, capturing the band's performance during the "Anniversary Show" at the Cultural Usina theater in Salta.
With "First Born" now released, Abyss Nox sets their sights on a promising future.
